Climate & weather in Appiano and Caldaro

The climate in the sunny south of South Tyrol

Both the natural landscape and the local climate reveal it: here you are on the southern and sunny site of the Alps.

The surroundings of Caldaro and Termeno boast gentle temperatures and a Mediterranean climate. This is also proved by the deep-green cypresses, palms and olive trees, which are widely spread across the local hills and meadows.

With more than 200 sunny days a year, the region also features a rather hot summer. And when temperature reaches 35°C, you can enjoy refreshing moments in the local lakes or take the local cable car and reach higher and thus cooler altitudes on the near-by Mendola Mountain. Not to forget the Appiano ice caves ;-)

In winter, the promenades and paths across the local hills into promise special kinds of experiences.
