Missiano

A village that is located far away from hustle and bustle

Slightly above Riva di Sotto and surrounded by vineyards and lush meadows, the small village of Missiano overlooks the valley.

There are three important castles and residences in the municipality, which attract lots of visitors:
Appiano Castle, Boymont Castle and Corba Castle are located in Missiano. For this reason the locality is not only a perfect starting point for walks to the castles, but also for bike tours or tips to the neighbouring cities of Merano and Bolzano.
