S. Paolo

This village is also called the “rural cathedral”

S. Paolo is situated in a quiet position and is surrounded by vineyards and meadows covered by fruit trees. This villages is characterised by its special atmosphere. The historical centre might certainly already be known to many of you, first of all due to its parish church Pauli Conversion, also called “rural cathedral”. This church is primarily known for its majestic size.

This village is also a popular starting point for walks that lead you to the numerous castles and residences in the surroundings. Particularly around the time of apple blossom in spring, S. Paolo invites to make a comfortable walk.

S. Paolo is venue for different cultural events like the wine weeks in summer or the exhibition of the nativity scene on Christmas. Moreover, every second year in September there is the traditional village festival, which is organised by different associations of the village.
