A walk to the three castles

This hike includes three interesting sights: Boymont, Appiano Castle and Corba Castle

Walking time from Corba Castle: 2 ½ hours.
Once a week a hiking guide accompanies interested hikers to the three great castles. In each of these castles, there is a tavern. Corba Castle is very well preserved and is also an exclusive restaurant and hotel.

Our tour begins on the way to Corba Castle, which can also be reached by car. We take the path n° 9, which leads us to the "Unterhauser Weinstadel". The tower "Kreideturm" is situated not far from this place. After a quarter we reach the impressive Appiano Castle.

Path n° 9A leads us to the next jewel: the Boymont ruin. We cross the Appiano valley, climbing the wooden stairs. Afterwards we can rest, as within 15 minutes we reach again Corba Castle.

International Castle Walk

Every year on the 1st of May there is the international Castle Walk in the famous castle triangle Corba Castle, Boymont Castle as well as Appiano Castle.

More than 2000 people participate in this idyllic and popular walk...
