The sport of Nordic Walking originates in Finland, where cross-country skiers began to use poles for walking during their summer training. Meanwhile its has spread all over the world and has become a very popular leisure time activity.
Nordic walking enhances your fitness and improves the overall vitality. The movement does not only work the legs, but it also involves the upper part of the body like arms, shoulders, chest and back. Furthermore the two poles reduce the stress that walking causes for the joints. This sport can be practiced by anyone, as it can be adjusted to every fitness level. Nordic Walking increases the upper body strengh, relieves neck and shoulder pain, improves body mobility and generally enhances the mood.
The Oltradige region is an ideal place to practise Nordic Walking.

Nordic Walking in the Castelvecchio forest from September to Oktober. Meeting at 4 p.m. at the car-park of the sports fields in S. Antonio. It is possible to rent walking poles.
